About this activity
Out of the city by mid-morning. We pick you up from your Tashkent hotel at 09:00 and swap the city traffic for the hills and mountains of the Tashkent region. The day is planned around fresh air, wide views and an easy pace, with your guide and driver looking after the route so you can simply look out of the window.
Two mountain villages first. The first stops are Hojikent and Chinorkent. Hojikent is a short photo and walking stop with your guide; in Chinorkent you have about an hour to stretch your legs, take a break, ask questions and wander on your own.
Charvak's turquoise water. Next comes the Charvak Reservoir, a turquoise lake ringed by green hills and sharp peaks. We stop above the water for photos and a breather, and your guide tells you how the lake fits into everyday life for people in Tashkent.
Chimgan and the Amirsoy cable car. From Charvak we drive on into Chimgan for a break and some free time among the mountain roads, then finish at Amirsoy Resort. Your cable car ride is included, so you can rise above the slopes for the widest views of the day before we head back to your hotel.
Good to know. Food and drinks during the day, transport and a live guide are included; tips and personal spending are up to you. Mountain weather changes quickly, so bring a warm layer, comfortable shoes and sunscreen. Choose the private option if you would like the guide and car just for your own group.
